Bhagwant Maan’s Album ‘Kulfi Garma Garam 2’ Released

Chandigarh 16^th October:--- The eagerly awaited album 'Kulfi Garma Garam 2' by famous entertaining comedian and Vice-president of PPP Bhagwant Maan was released today at Chandigarh Press Club. The album release ceremony was performed by prominent singer Harjit Harman & album's music director Khushdil. Bhagwant Maan through this creative effort will again regale his fans through artistic talent of 'Bebo Bhua' 'Jhanda Amli' 'Toni Singh' and other characters.

Giving Highlights & special features of the album 'Kulfi Garma Garam 2', Bhagwant Maan said that it can be listened along with family members and there is no vulgarity of any kind in the dialogues of the production. He said that he was encouraged to produce this album after enthusiastic response of the public to his 'Kulfi Garma Garam 1' in 1993. He said that through this effort he has made an attempt to highlight ill-conceived practices in social, religious, and political fields. Commenting on the increasing trend of vulgarity in songs and films, Bhagwant Maan said that though they are his professional colleagues but he is against all such unprofessional ventures. He said that through this album he has also highlighted the day by day worsening plight of farming community. He emphasized the need of presenting true picture of Punjab through progressive Punjabi films and songs. Replying to a question about his continuing in politics, Bhagwant Maan said that he is still Vice President of PPP and active in politics. He said that politics is his mission and entertainment of the people is his source of meals. He said that he has kept both these ventures in separate compartments. Giving example of Sukhbir Badal, Deputy CM on this issue he said that Sukhbir also runs Transport and Hotel Industry Business along with politics and similarly Cricketer and MP Navjot Sidhu also performs on TV along with carrying his political mission.

 

In this album, Bhagwant Maan's old companion Jagtar Jaggi also played important role. Album has been divided in to 15 colorful parts which included Kulfi Garma Garam, Byee God di Kasam, Mobile Baba, Jhanda Amli, Google search, Roadways bus, Tumbiyan, Pistol (Geet), Punjab Police, Punjabi Navigator, Honey Singh, NRI Baba, Bebo Bhua, Sarpanchi (Geet), Maggar Singh & Punjab.
