Chandigarh Group of Colleges Organise Orientation Programme

Mohali 07th August:-- Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC), Jhanjeri, Mohall organized an Orientation Programme for the new first year students of various courses. More than 90% students along with their parents attended the programme. The management unfolded a detailed pre-placement Training (PPT) programme at the moment, which is to start from 1st semester itself to ensure placements for all before they pass out from their respective courses.  Satnam Singh Sandhu, Chairman &. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President, CGC said that the hardworking students of Engineering & Management courses like MBA, B.Com, BBA & BCA have   bright future here as last year about 200 companies had visited CGC Campuses and this year efforts will be made to invite more companies to CGC so that all eligible students can be placed before they pass out. Dr.G.D. Bansal, Director General, while informing the excellent results obtained by Jhanjeri students during 1st & 2nd Semester PTU exams last said that management aims at zero failures with highest number of students in merit lists. He further advised the students to take full benefit of the classes. He also informed the students about the lucrative cash prizes to meritorious students including laptops to the toppers of PTU exams.
