Chandigarh, Dec.01, 2025:-In an inspiring interaction on the sidelines of the ongoing Women's Under-23 T20 Tournament at Cricket Stadium, Sector 16, former India internationals Nooshin Al Khadeer and Neetu David motivated young city cricketers with words drawn from their exceptional playing careers.
Drawing from their illustrious careers, both stalwarts motivated the young players to stay focused, disciplined and committed to continuous improvement. Khadeer, one of India's finest off-spinners who represented the country in 78 ODIs and five Test matches, spoke about the importance of hard work, self-belief and adapting to modern-day demands of the game. She urged players to "trust the process and embrace every challenge as an opportunity."
Neetu David who is regarded as one of the greatest left-arm spinners in women's cricket and a former world record holder also shared lessons from her journey spanning 97 ODIs and ten Test matches. Emphasizing game awareness and mental strength, she encouraged young bowlers to sharpen their skills with patience and clarity of thought.
Also present on the occasion include Sulakshna Naik, Selector, National Women team, Alok Krishan, Treasurer, UTCA and Indu Gupta, Manager, UTCA.
