Chandigarh, August 28, 2024:-Universal Business School (UBS), India's leading global business school and a part of India's first Artificial Intelligence University – Universal AI University- has achieved a remarkable success at the 'Enactus India National Exposition 2024' held at Amity University, NOIDA; recently. 'Enactus UBS' (Universal Business School), a participating team of Universal Business School in the event, has been awarded the prestigious title of 'Emerging Innovator'. Notably, UBS has about 20 per cent of students out of its total enrollment for this academic year from the States of Punjab and New Delhi.
'Enactus UBS' competed with more than 110 teams gathered from across India. This milestone achievement showcased Universal Business School's focus on shaping up the students' mindsets to inculcate entrepreneurial skills and nurture innovative ideas.
Acknowledging the performance put up by Enactus UBS team, Prof Tarundeep Singh Anand, Founder of Universal Business School and Chancellor of Universal AI University said, that the 'Enactus UBS' team bagging the title of an 'Emerging Innovator' is a testimony of incredible potential of our young students' innovative minds and the decisive role our Institute has been playing in nurturing their talent and taking them to highly competitive platforms to perform and win. Calling the success of 'Enactus UBS' as a milestone in the institute's journey, Dr Simon Mak, an international strategist and an Award – winning professor with vast expertise in Silicon Valley start-ups and academics who has recently taken the charge as a Vice Chancellor of Universal AI University said that this recognition fuels our Institution's passion to create lasting impact and inspire generations to come in our campus to pursue global-level academics. This will help the students in embarking upon the next chapter of innovation and social entrepreneurship in order to become global leaders of the future in their careers.
The event aimed at fostering social entrepreneurship among students of various institutions participating from all across India. 'UBS Enactus' demonstrated its performance among other institutions like SSBUICET, Panjab University, IIT Delhi, Delhi University, Thapar, St. Xavier's, NIFT, Lady Shri Ram College, Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, Shaheed Sukhdev College of Commerce and VIT Chennai and many more.
