Congress Holds "Satyagraha" against the Modi Led Central Govt.

Chandigarh Congress today organised a massive dharna named " Satyagraha " against the Modi led central Govt.in front of Rajiv Gandhi Congress bhawan in Sector 35 Chandigarh. Hundreds of activists of the party carrying party flags, placards and pictures of Rahul Gandhi sat peacefully singing Ram Dhun with Mahatma Gandhi's picture in the backdrop. This Satyagraha was part of congress party's agitational plan to peacefully protest against the dictatorial and anti-democratic actions of Modi government and the BJP. 

Speaking on the occasion H.S Lucky president of Chandigarh Congress, accused Modi Govt. of helping Adani group of Companies to earn windfall profits at the cost of common man and small and medium enterprises and businesses.Lucky alleged that Modi government has been ruthlessly misusing Central agencies against its political opponents and weakening the democratic institutions of the country. He accused the government of unfairly targetting Rahul Gandhi just because he is asking tough questions and exposing the misdeeds and corruption of Modi government. 

He further alleged that the six words spoken by  Rahul Gandhi in Karnataka during elections in 2019 were distorted out of context and evidence was  manipulated to implicate him in a defamation case. 

  Lucky stated that it is laughable that some BJP ministers are alleging Rahul Gandhi  insulted Other Backward Castes. Claiming that both Lalit Modi & Nirav Modi are not OBCs, Lucky alleged that the BJP is consistently denying caste census and has curtailed the resources meant for providing education & employment to the OBCs through the 'creamy layers' concept and by reducing reservation in the states ruled by them.

He further said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was not allowed to speak in the parliament by the speaker of the Lok sabha. When, Rahul Gandhi exposed the unholy nexus between Modi and businessman Adani, all his remarks were expunged. He was not allowed to speak in the parliament despite his personal requests to the Speaker in order to rebutt the false allegations made against him on the floor of the Lok Sabha. Lucky said that the Chandigarh Congress will fight the fascist and anti-people Modi government with its full might. He further declared that  the Chandigarh Congress will  keep its agitation on till justice is done in Rahul Gandhi's matter and till the BJP does not stop attacking and insulting the constitution of the country and protecting the corrupt.
