Vishvas Foundation and Indian Red Cross Society Punjab State organizes Blood Donation Camp

Chandigarh, Nov.24, 2021:- Blood Donation Camp was organized by Vishvas Foundation and Indian Red Cross Society Punjab State, Chandigarh at Market Sector-34A Chandigarh. This camp was organized by social worker Mukesh Chauhan in the memory of his mother Late Smt. Sunita Devi ji. Special care was taken for masks, social distancing and sanitization in the camp.

Vishvas Foundation General Secretary Sadhvi Neelima Vishvas said that the team of Blood Bank Rotary and Blood Bank Society Resource Centre Sector 37 Chandigarh collected 31 units of blood under the supervision of Dr. Manish Rai. She said that blood donation is a great donation. Giving blood to a needy person can save his life.

Generally, people have a mentality that donating blood causes weakness in the body. This is misleading information. There is no weakness due to blood donation and within a week the blood supplied is supplied and new blood is circulated in the body. He has appealed to the youth to take a pledge to donate blood and must donate blood in life.

All the blood donors who came to this blood donation camp were encouraged by giving appreciation letters, masks, soaps, badges and gifts. Rakesh Kumari from Indian Red Cross Society and Avinash Sharma Vainder Gandhi, Vishal Kunwar, Neeraj Yadav from Vishwas Foundation and other dignitaries were also present on this occasion.
