This webinar aimed at educating students on the significance of Soft Skills and Resume Writing in finding suitable employment and for accelerating career progression. Ms. Kaur enumerated various key soft skills and gave pointers on how to cultivate them. She highlighted the importance of skills such as team-work, time-management, empathy, delegation of work, problem solving, and critical thinking in the workplace. She also spoke about the relevance of these skills in building personal relationships outside of the office. In addition, Ms. Kaur gave tips to write a well-structured, clean and precise resume. She emphasised that an effective resume can create a positive impression on a prospective recruiter and help achieve your dream job.

The Principal, Dr. Jatinder Kaur, appreciated the efforts of the Department of Computer Science and Applications and Placement Cell in organising a webinar on this vital topic. She encouraged the students to participate in more such events that will help them embark on their career journey.
