By 121 News

Chandigarh June 28, 2021:-Sony SAB's Wagle Ki Duniya is undoubtedly one of the most loved shows on television today. The show has won several plaudits for its relatable storyline and, more importantly, relatable characters played by some of the most loved artists.

One such artist is Chinmayee Salvi, who plays Rajesh and Vandana Wagle's daughter, Atharva's sister - Sakhi Wagle. Chinmayee, right since the beginning of the show, has managed to amass a lot of love from the audience through her portrayal of the mischievous as well well-behaved daughter and a loving and caring elder sister.

Talking about her favourite horror movies and characters etched to it, Chinmayee said that it has been a while since she have had an opportunity to sit down and enjoy a good horror movie. However, she remembers watching 'Exorcism of Emily Rose' which gave me chills down the spine. The fact that it is based on a real-life story made the movie more intriguing. It is her all-time favourite film in this genre. Her favourite character from a horror movie would have to be Bill Skarsgard. His performance in the movie 'IT' was simply brilliant. She continues to enjoy watching horror and thriller movies whenever she gets the opportunity to do so.

Sharing her fond memories, Chinmayee said that she vaguely remember the time she was watching the movie 'Conjuring' in a movie theatre; she was engrossed in the scene and in all that excitement, she somehow dropped her cell phone on a women's lap, sitting next to her. In an instant, she got startled and was scared to death. It was not deliberate, but a very scary moment for both of us. Besides that, being a trained Kathak dancer, she learnt Navras Byas in detail. Her friends and she used to always convince our Kathak guru to end Bhayanak Rasa with a twist of horror.

Further, talking about working on a horror sequel in the future, Chinmayee said that as a child and even now, horror is one genre that has always caught her eyes while watching movies. If she ever do get a chance to work and explore such a project, why not? She will be more than happy to take it up.
