Why Chandigarh Police Top Officials Turned a Blind Eyes to Chandigarh BJP's Tractor Rally on a Cycle Track Which Breaks All Rules: Congress

Chandigarh Sept. 30, 2020:-  Chandigarh Congress President Pardeep Chhabra and senior leaders Rampal Sharma, Subhash Chawla, Darshan Jindal, Pawan Sharma, Surinder Singh, Devinder Babla, Jatinder Bhatia, Harphool Kalyan, Sadiq Mohammad, Gurcharandas Kala, Jasjit Kang, Sandeep Bhardwaj, Hafiz Anwar-ul-Haq, Harmohinder Lucky, Shashi Shankar Tiwari, Gurpreet Gabi, Deipa Dubey, Ajay Joshi, Ajay Sharma, Yadvinder Mehta, Rajiv Moudgil, Gurbax Rawat, Anita Sharma, Meenakshi Chaudhari, Premlata, Jeet Singh Bahlana, Ramkaran, Kuldeep, Harjinder Bawa, Jeet Singh, Ravinder Gujral, Sheela Devi, Satish Kainth, Jagir Singh, Dharamvir, Rameshwar Giri, Surjeet Singh Dhillon, Sanjay Bhajni, Lawrence Malik, Ok Prakash Saini, Mukesh Rai, Narinder Rinku, Viponjot Aman gave a joint statement and condemned the tractor rally taken out by Chandigarh BJP on the cycle tracks of the city in support of the black farmers laws passed undemocratically by the NDA and took strong exception on the attitude of senior officials of Chandigarh Police who have turned a blind eye to all the violations of law during the rally.

The Chandigarh Congress leaders said that the Chandigarh Police has taken partiality in implementation of laws to another new level and said that Chandigarh Police finds faults in the protests organised by Congress, but even gross violations of laws and rules by ruling BJP in its protests and functions is put a blind eye to by the Administration and Police officials and no action or FIRs are initiated against the BJP leaders. The Chandigarh Congress leaders questioned that has the Chandigarh Police and law got so one sided that they can't see the BJP leaders driving tractors on cycle tracks.

They further added that the condition of Chandigarh roads has already gone from bad to worse in last 6 years and now Chandigarh BJP leaders have started driving tractors on cycle tracks also to destroy what is left of them. BJP MP Rajkumar Chahar had reached to get his photos clicked at the tractor rally organised in favour of the black farmer laws and at the protest all norms of social distancing were put to shreds. Chandigarh Congress leaders said that Chahar should have shown the strength to meet the protesting farmers and farm unions if he was so sure of the benefits of the draconian farmer laws passed by the BJP.
