Chandigarh Sept.04, 2020:- The interstate operation was taken off in view of spread of COVID-19 by Chandigarh Administration. Now new guidelines have been received from the Govt. of India vide letter No. 40-3/2020-DM-I(A), dated 29.8.2020. As per provisions mentioned at Para No. 5 of ibid notification, this Administration has decided allow to resume inter-state bus service of Chandigarh Transport Undertaking buses and other State Transport Undertakings (STUs) with effect from 16th September, 2020.
The HVAC / AC buses are also allowed to operate with COVID-19 guidelines issued by the Govt. of India from time to time.
The approval is accorded subject to the SoP to be maintained by the buses as a preventative measures to spread Pandemic of CoVID-19.
