NEET and JEE Exams: NSUI Sat Indefinite Hunger Strike

Chandigarh August 29, 2020:-To protest against the decision of the central government of going ahead with NEET and JEE exams, the National Chairman of NSUI Social Media, Manoj Lubana and Vice-president of PUCSC 2019-2020, Rahul Kumar have sat on an indefinite hunger strike Infront of the Congress Bhawan, sec 35, Chandigarh. 
     The NSUI and INC have been constantly stressing on the postponement of the exams amidst the rising cases of Covid in the country. 
       The All India NSUI President Neeraj Kundan is also sitting on an indefinite hunger strike in New Delhi, for the postponement of JEE and NEET entrance exams. 
       Manoj Lubana said that 26 lakh students will be appearing for an entrance when Covid is rising and states are facing floods. Holding exams now will invite a chaos.
Rahul Kumar said that we are asking for postponement and not cancellation. Government must listen to the stake holders.
      Chandigarh Congress President Pradeep Chhabra has extended his support to cause saying that these aspirants are the future of India and it's our collective duty to protect the interests of the students. It's time government comes out of hibernation and understand implications of its decisions.
