Punjab & Haryana High Court Bar Association organizes Blood Donation Camp: 300 Units of Blood Collected

Chandigarh 25th July:-  The Punjab & Haryana High Court Bar Association in collaboration with Blood Contributors Club and the High Court Employees' Union, with the Rotary & Blood Bank Society Resource Centre, Sector -37, Chandigarh organized a blood donation camp today in the Bar Library, Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh was received with an overwhelming response with 300 units of blood donated on this special occasion. What was ever more encouraging was the fact that litigants and other visitors to the High Court premises also participated actively in promoting the noble cause. The Blood Donation Camp is always organized under the able guidance of  M.L. Sarin, Sr. Advocate, who himself is also a centurion donor.

The Blood Donation Camp was inaugurated by Hon'ble Justice Krishna Murari, Chief Justice of the Punjab & Haryana High Court alongwith his companion Judges Hon'ble Justice Arun Palli. Dr. Anmol Rattan Sidhu, President, Randeep Singh Waraich (Rana), Vice President, Baltej Singh Sidhu, Honorary Secretary, Parminder Kaur Chana, Joint Secretary and the entire Executive Committee of the Punjab & Haryana High Court Bar Association also participated actively in furthering such a noble cause by donating blood. The Members of Punjab & Haryana High Court Employees' Union and the Clerks' Association also came forward enthusiastically to make the Blood Donation Camp success.

The special feature of the camp this time was that many officers  and employees of the Chief Justice's secretariat and the staff at his residence also donated blood on being encouraged by the Chief Justice and Mrs. Murari.

Such Blood Donation Camps are a regular feature in the High Court and the Camps are organized in the High Court premises after every three months.
