Chandigarh 13th September:- Central Placement Cell of the Panjab University is organizing "Non Credit Course on Soft Skills" for the students of all departments of Panjab University Chandigarh. A total of 519 students have registered for the course which will be conducted in two batches from 5.00 pm to 6.30 pm in the Physics Auditorium.
The sessions will include Personality Development, Communication Skills, Written Communication, Time and Stress Management, Group Discussion, Presentation Skills, Facing Interviews, Resume Writing, Team Building and Motivation
The Inaugural session was conducted in which the eminent functionaries of the University Prof. O.P. Katare (Director Research Promotion Cell), Prof. Navdeep Goyal (Chairperson, Dept. of Physics, Prof. Emanual Nahar (Dean Student Welfare) Prof. S.K. Chadha, Director P.U. Central Placement Cell, Prof. Suresh Sharma (Chairperson, Dept. of System Biology) and Dr. Amandeep Singh Marwaha (TPO UIAMS) blessed the students and emphasized on the importance of such courses for the students. They also applauded the efforts of the Central Placement Cell in conducting this course.
Prof. Suresh K. Chadha was of the opinion that the inputs of the resource persons in this course on Soft skills would definitely help to shape the future of our students.
