For first time for an event run in this region live timing system is being used that can be checked on the internet by supporters and fans of participants.
Before any participant is allowed to race their vehicle and riding gear is checked by independent qualified technical delegates and scrutinizers appointed by FMSCI. The purpose is to ensure that maximum emphasis on safety is kept during the races. This check also is used for determination and verification of engine capacities.
There are many sub categories of competitions based on engine capacities of vehicles so that the powerful vehicles do not gain an upper hand vis-à-vis the smaller vehicles. The event has attracted wide spread attraction and there are participants coming from faraway places like Mumbai, Indore, Ahmedabad, Delhi and of course the states around the tri city region. There are over 150 participants and above 60 officials involved in the safety and conduct of the event.
