State Bank of India organizes Yoga Camp to observe 2nd International Yoga Day

Chandigarh 21st June:- To observe 2nd International Yoga Day, State Bank of India, Chandigarh Circle organized Yoga Camp at its Local Head Office Sector-17, Chandigarh, in which a large number of staff members participated and took the benefit of yoga for their health. In order to maintain conformity with the main event at Capital Complex, Chandigarh, the Bank also organized six days Yoga Training Session from 15th June 2016 to 20th June 2016, to make the participants aware of the protocol to be followed at main event. The Yoga instructor demonstrated the "Asanas" and helped the staff members to perform them. He emphasized on the certain asanas to keep the body healthy and flexible and to feel afresh all the time.

Kumar Rajan, General Manager and Venkatesh S. Bharadwaj, General Manager, and other senior officials also actively participated in the camp and expressed that this type of initiative is very vital as it is related to our health. Kumar Rajan also stated that State Bank of India always remain ahead in doing community service related activities and organization of such camp is an addition to the health support provided to general public.
