Chandigarh 09th May:- A meeting of office bearers and Mandal Presidents of Bharatiya Janata Party District 4 was held under the chairmanship of District President Shakti Prakash Devshali. Prominent party activists present in the meeting include Meghraj Verma, Vinay Dubey, Mukesh Sharma, Rajinder Sharma, Manish Bhasin, Bhupinder Saini, Subhash Goyal, Seema Puri, Swaran Singh, Anoop Singh Rana, Raj Kishore, Shilanath Gupta, Mukesh Rai, Rakesh Kumar among others.
While addressing the meeting District President Shakti Prakash Devshali said that all the office bearers should contact residents of their areas and invite each and every citizen to attend the Yoga Day Celebration with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to be held on 21st June 2016. He stressed upon the need of contacting people upto Booth level and enroll them to ensure their participation in the program. He also said that party has also decided to train the participants for a period of one month and for this purpose a team of trainers is ready to execute the training program.
Shakti Prakash Devshali further said that on one hand we are concerned about the health of the Chandigarhians and on the other hand we are also concerned about the cleanliness of our city. The party has given the slogan of 'Healthy Chandigarh-Clean Chandigarh' under which party activists will aware the masses about the necessity of keeping their surroundings neat and clean.
