Chandigarh 09th December:- KB DAV Senior Secondary Public School, Sector 7-B, Chandigarh organized its Annual Athletic Meet 2015 today. The annual Athletic meet was a spectacular show with nearly 1500 participants who performed drills, and artistic sports on the music.
The function was presided over by the Rajinder Nath Ji, Vice President, DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi and the hon'ble Guest of Honour, Mrs. Madhu Bahl, Regional Director and Founder Principal, KBDAV-7, Chandigarh. Distinguished visitors on the show were Dr. R.S. Khandpur, Former Director General, Pushpa Gujral Science City and Dr. B.C. Josan, Principal, DAV College, Chandigarh, Manager of the school and all Tricity DAV Principals.
The young blooms from Classes Nursery to II presented a vibrant show by performing drills will Dumbles, Pomp-Pomps and Rattles. An Artistic Display of Sports on Music with Rings, Ribbons, Cycles, Skates, Badminton etc. left the audience spellbound. A marvelous display of skills by the Hindustan Scouts & Guides was followed by Aerobics performed by the senior students. In concluding ceremony, the prizes were given away to the winners of various races and events.
The Chief Guest Rajinder Nath Ji, Vice President, DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi appreciated the discipline shown by the KBDAVians throughout the Athletic Meet.
The function concluded with the National Anthem.
