Chandigarh 26th News:- French expert delegation led by Ms. Fanny Herre, Counselloe Development Durable, French Embassy held a meeting with senior officials of the Chandigarh Administration today. The meeting was chaired by Anurag Agarwal, Home Secretary cum State Mission Director along with Smt. Bhawana Garg, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, S B Deepak Kumar, Secretary Information Technology, Danish Ashraf, Nodal Officer Smart City Mission and Bhupesh Chaudhary, Assistant Commissioner, Municipal Corporation.
On this occasions Information Technology Department, Transport Department and SSP Traffic of U.T. Administration gave presentations regarding e-governance initiatives in Chandigarh and the co-operation that each department would need from French Delegation with regard to Transport, IT and Security. Alstom, Atos, JC Decaux, Thales, Dassault Systems gave their presentation before the administration.
Commenting during the meeting, Danish Ashraf, Nodal Officer Smart City said that the meeting and its outcome would play an important part to be included in the Smart City Proposal of Chandigarh under the Smart City Mission.
