300 Attend Mega Free Health Camp

Ropar 21st November:- Max India Foundation, the Corporate Social Responsibility Wing of the Max India Group, has oganized a free multispecialty health camp at Dana Mandi , Toansa near Ropar today. The camp was organized in association with Max Super Specialty Hospital, Mohali and Max Specialty Films, the production unit of the Max Group based near Ropar.

During camp the free consultations and checkups were provided to around 300 underprivileged people of area. A team of nurses, doctors, pharmacists and paramedic staff comprising of Dr Jaspreet , Dr Ashok Sharma, Dr Mandeep and Dr Harpreet Kapoor from Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Gynaecology, Internal Medicine and Orthopedics specialties addressed the healthcare needs of people. Max India Foundation also distributed free medicines to the people besides offering bp, sugar, eye, ECG and bone mass densitometry tests free of cost. 

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Mohini Daljeet Singh, Chief Executive, Max India Foundation said that Max India Foundation is committed towards making specialized healthcare services accessible to the less privileged people of the society. Through this free medical camp, our endeavour is to address the health concerns of the underprivileged people, which are often neglected due to monetary constraints. Such camps make the people realise how important their health is for the well being of themselves and their families.  In line with the Max Group philosophy of 'Seva-bhav', we have taken up the initiative to provide free consultation and medicines to the people at the camp and are happy that this initiative will benefit the needy and deserving."
