Chandigarh 23rd September:- The fifth Smart City consultation camp took place today in the community centre of Sector-27, Chandigarh under the supervision of Danish Ashraf, IAS, Nodal Officer for Chandigarh Smart City Mission-cum-SDM (East) and Satinder Singh, Area Councilor.
The camp saw positive participation from the residents of the sector, who gathered together at one common place to provide befitting suggestions to make Chandigarh a smarter city. During the camp Danish Ashraf, heard the suggestions of the residents and associations and assured timely solution to the problems being faced by the residents of the area.
Commenting on the occasion, Danish Ashraf, said that the smart city consultation camps are an initiative to involve citizens of the city to form solutions best fitted to their needs. With the active participation of the residents, such solutions can be farmed by the administration, which would eradicate the inconveniences being faced by the city residents. He also stated that the "Smart City Mission" is an inter-city competition in which all the cities are competing to make it to the list of first 20 smart cities, by implementing pan-city smart solutions. He concluded by saying that for a smart city, the administration looks forward to more smart suggestions from the smart citizens.
