Ashmah International School Observe The World Population Day

Chandigarh 13th July:- Ashmah International School observed the World Population Day. On this occasion, students were made aware of population explosion and its impact on our Mother Earth. The harmful effects of increasing population on human beings, animals, birds, environment and nature at large were also explained. Activities, such as slogan Writing, Essay Writing, Extempore and Elocution contest were organised on various topics regarding protecting the Earth and its environment. Students and teachers delivered speeches and introduced the origin of this day. Apart this, teachers guided that how this increased population is a threat to the world.

Director J.S. Kesar Ashmah International School encouraged the students to eradicate such problems like overpopulation from society while showing joint efforts to achieve the goal of making everyone aware of population explosion .He also highlighted the role of government to control population. According to him world population day is a day dedicated to understanding the impacts of the rise in global population. Actions to take on this day is to research which areas of the globe will experience rises in population, how increases in population affect food production and availability.
