Chandigarh 06th June:- Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology organised 9th International conference on sustainable business growth. The sub-themes were in the fields of Production and Operations Management, HRM, Marketing, Accounting & Finance, Strategic Management, Services, R&D, Information Technology, International Trade and Business and allied areas. Jaideep Bansal, Operations Manager, Procter & Gamble was the chief Guest and key note speaker at this occasion.
Chairman J S Bedi Said that the aim of the conference was to discuss and offer practical solutions to address the multifarious challenges being faced by businesses. In liberalized economic environment, businesses are facing multiple challenges from domestic and international competitors. To make the business sustainable in the long run, businesses have to develop suitable policies and strategies and keep them updated. Governments also have an important role to play by way of coming up with policies which are conducive for sustainable economic and social growth. Therefore, the purpose of this conference is to identify, discuss and share the important issues and practices related to sustainable global business growth. He further added that this conference provided a platform to academicians, researchers, consultants, administration, policymakers and practicing managers in various fields to share their ideas. 41 papers based on unpublished and original research on the conference theme were submitted.
