Chandigarh 19th February:- The Global Education Interact, an initiative by The Chopras is being held at The JW Marriott Hotel, Dakshin marg, Sector 35, Chandigarh. The major thrust of the fair was to meet students interested in gaining admission into the current or latest up-coming intakes. More than 25 universities from across the world took part in it.
Poonam Singh, General Manger, The Chopras said that the GEI has been offering a common platform to Universities and educational Institutions internationally to interact with such students seeking opportunities abroad to fortify their educational qualification. This Exhibition has been serving as a beacon for students and parents across several cities in India, shedding light on the numerous avenues and options they have globally when it comes to further education. This way the students will have adequate back-ups without being overwhelmed by too many choices. She added that the education fair was commenced on the 3rd February, 2015 and will continue till the 20th February, 2015 spanning across 9 cities like Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Delhi and Jaipur.
The Chandigarh event will be represented by 25 universities from countries like USA, UK, Canada, Australia and Singapore. The University of Manchester is a highly ranked Tier - ! University offering a plethora of courses ranging from MBA, Engineering, Finance, Management, Art & Design, Film & Media. University of Kent represents the best that an American university can offer. Monash and MIT from Australia offer exciting courses as do SIM & MDIS from Singapore offering Diplomas leading to Degrees in the UK, US and Australia. Canada is represented by GBC and Navitas.
