Chandigarh 17th December:- To remove the encroachements in varandahs of the city markets, The Enforcement wing of Municipal Corporation conducted a special drive in the city markets and challaned 50 violators for encroachment in varandahs.The special drive was conducted following the orders of Dr. Sarita Malik, Additional Commissioner, MC. The enforcement team removed encroachments like rehiris of momos & spring rolls etc from various markets of the city. No untoward incident took place during the drive.
