Mohali 07th September:- PTU organised Inter College Table Tennis (Men & Women) Tournaments at Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC), Jhanjeri with great fanfare . As many as 26 teams of boys & 8 teams of girls from various colleges across the state participated in this 3-days Tournament. Welcoming the participants ,coaches and DPEs, Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President, CGC encouraged them to put in their best but simultaneously he emphasized upon fair conduct & participation rather than the end results. He assured that all efforts are made to make the stay of all the participants comfortable.
In the contest & neck to neck fight, the boys team of CEC, Landran captured the first position & won gold medals as well as the trophy. The team from RIEIT, Railmajra stood second winning silver medals & the third position went to CTIEMT, Shahpur winning bronze medals. In girls, IET, Bhaddal bagged first position & the trophy while the team from RIEIT, Railmajra stood second and won silver. CGC, Jhanjeri, won the third position and bronze medals. At the end ,Dr. G.D. Bansal distributed prizes to the winners & mementoes to all the co-ordinators, referees & other organizers.
