Divaz4Business Launch in Chandigarh

Chandigarh 23rd April:-- To provide finance mantras to women start-ups
and entrepreunrs the first of its kind and exclusive forum
"Divaz4Business" launch today in Chandigarh today at Chandigarh Press
Club. Divaz4Business is presented by State bank of India and supported
by CICU .Divaz4Business is conceptualized by A.P.E Communication and
launched in association with SPH Consultants & eServices Pvt Ltd. The
event is happening on 25th April at CRRID Madhya Marg, Chandigarh.
While talking to the media Raj K Pathak, Founder President, APE
Communication said, that over 80% of women entrepreneurs start their
business in the age group of 30 plus. They usually have no support
system to help them overcome the hurdles. DIvaz4Business has been
launched with the objective to fill the knowledge gap. At APE
Communication, we have been promoting entrepreunership in India since
two decades through various means; Divaz4Business is the extension of
our objective.
Arun kumar Yadav, DGM, State Bank of India said, that SBI is proudly
associated with Divaz4Business and would extend our heartiest wishes
for its successful endeavor. SBI has always believed in women
empowerment and have many schemes to support their entrepreunial
dreams. Many women entrepreneurs have been financially supported by
SBI and we will continue to do so in future. At SBI, our experience
says that mostly women are not ready with proper project report when
they approach us, we hope Divaz4Business, will fulfill this gap.'

Being a women entrepreneur, I can understand the hurdles to start any
business. One of the biggest issue is generating finance for the
business. On one hand the financial institutions and banks have funds
and are looking for the right projects and on other hand women have
limited access to information on such funding opportunities. Women
need to have the knowledge of the funds, match them with the
opportunities and the understand the processes to apply for these
funds. Divaz4Business will enable them to prepare a fundable project
report and take them to the financial institutions to start or scale
their operations. Divaz4Business is the platform to connect wannabe as
well as existing women entrepreneurs with practical information,
knowledge and skills. Divaz4Business will primarily focus in tier 2
and tier 3 cities through workshops and online mentoring.
