Chandigarh 26th March:-- The gate No 2 of Punjab and Haryana High Court witnessed huge crowd of lawyers who had gathered to welcome the Bharatiya Janata Party’s MP candidate for Chandigarh Lok Sabha seat, Kirron Kher. Kirron Kher along with the BJP’s state President, Sanjay Tandon, Senior leader and Senior advocate, Satya Pal Jain, Convener of BJP’s legal cell, Advocate Pritam Saini, National secretary, Mahila Morcha, Asha Jaswal, Senior Advocates, Atul Lakhanpal, Chetan Mittal along with Kuldeep Chaudhary and other lawyers went to the cafeteria to meet senior and junior advocates. On this occasion women lawyers had arranged a special programme at ladies bar room. Kirron received a warm welcome by the senior women advocates.
While addressing the women lawyers, Kirron said, that she is very excited to see the big number of women lawyers here. The BJP’s had fielded a woman candidate from this constituency for the first time. This is my own city and understands the problems of its residents. I will do my best to resolve the long pending issues here.
Afterwards she went to the main bar room where another massive delegation of lawyers welcomed her. Satya Pal Jain said that the Bar Association was united and as a moral responsibility its members give patient hearing to the problems of people.
Speaking on the occasion, Kirron said, that she had never imagined that she would be contesting from here. The high command has given her a great opportunity to give back something to my hometown. she have joined BJP because of its good governance. During the NDA’s rule and under the Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s visionary leadership India had moved forward on all fronts. Whenever BJP was in power, progress has been achieved but when the Congress supported government came to power, the common man suffered due to inflation and wrong economic policies. India's economy grew at its slowest annual rate in a decade. Kirron added that there was a need to bring change in the political system to realize the dream of development in the country.
