Mohali 14th March:-- Four hundred seventy four degrees students of B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, B.Arch, B.Ed and E.T.T. received degrees at the 7th Annual Convocation of Indo Global Colleges . Hon’ble Chief Guest on the occasion was Rakesh KumarVerma IAS Punjab Cadre presently serving as Secretary, Technical Education.
The function began with “Saraswati Vandana” by students of institute, which was followed by lighting of lamp by the eminent guest and offered prayers to Devi Saraswati. Delivering the convocation address, Chief Guest Rakesh KumarVerma blessed the students for getting degrees wherein they can dream of having successful careers ahead. He further added that the students should shoulder the responsibility of carrying the Nation forward by measuring up to the increased competition. For this Rakesh KumarVerma said that it was important for one to have up to-date and multidisciplinary education. He appreciated that Indo a Global college was doing well to provide such education. He further added that future of our country is in the right hands, as these budding engineers will do all the right things to take our country to the fast forward track to progress. He urged them to be innovative and come out with cutting edge solutions to the multitude of problems and opportunities
Sukhdev Kumar Singla Chairman Indo Global Colleges welcomed the chief Guest and other dignitaries and congratulated the students having their degrees. Addressing the students on the occasion, Chairman Singla advised them to work hard for achieving their set goals in life. He further added that Education is a continual process that keeps on enriching the lives of everyone around. In the real sense of the term, for an educated person, classroom interaction is must.
