HERO CYCLES INTRODUCES ITS LATEST RANGE OF BICYCLES – SPRINT AT CHANDIGARH CARNIVAL

Chandigarh 23rd November:--- In an event organised by the Main sponsors of the Chandigarh Carnival – Hero Cycles, the cycle manufacturer's latest offering – 'Sprint' was introduced by displaying models of the same at the company's stall at Leisure valley.

The event which was organized by Starbizz India Entertainment saw Sukhdev Singh who is a Limca Book of World Record holder for reverse cycling, which he has been practicing since 1984, after being inspired by the role of cine actor Dharmendra in the blockbuster movie Sholay, participated in the event. Sukhdev displayed his reverse cycling prowess at a special cycling track made out for the launch event. It is noteworthy that Sukhdev has been reverse cycling a whopping average distance of 50 Kms daily.  Says Sukhdev Singh, "I am excited to be part of the event. This step of introducing a new range of bicycles by Hero Cycles is good for Indian youngsters. Cycling is a very healthy habit and a cycle's biggest advantage is that it a non polluting vehicle."  According to Yadwinder Singh,MD, Starbizz India Entertainment, "The event also had its quotient of glamour associated with it. Models stood alongside latest 'Sprint' bicycle models and showcased the latest offering by Hero Cycles. The display of Sprint bicycles at Chandigarh Carnival-2013 attracted a lot of attention of visitors." There are 9 variants of Sprint cycles --Enchant, Hero, Hero, Hero, Hero, Hero, Hero, Hero, Hero.

According to Ashok Bawa, GM (Marketing), Hero Cycles, that this is our new series of bicycles and the models are targeted at youngsters in the age group of 12-16 years. The range of the cycles is between Rs 4000-Rs 7000. The models are multi speed top of the line bikes."
