UCWeb India Extends Support to Amitasha for Education and Welfare of 1000 Girl Students

Chandigarh 25th October: --- UCWeb, a leading global provider of mobile internet software and services, today announced its first Corporate Social Responsibility initiative for India by extending its support to Amitasha. Amitasha is an independent NGO that manages 5 afternoon schools where girl children are taught, loved and cared. Amitasha, in its philanthropic initiative of supporting underprivileged girls, provides free education, meals and healthcare facilities to these girl students. A part of the Amity Humanity Foundation, it even provides college education to the girl students at Amity's various campuses across India.

 

As a part of the initiative, UCWeb would be supporting and spreading the Diwali festivities among 1000 girl students of Amitasha by purchasing special Diwali Greeting cards and Diyas prepared by them. The substantial resources provided by UCWeb will be utilized by Amitasha to continue providing free education, meals and other benefits being given to these students.
