Lawerence Public School Observed Trafice week:DSP Traffic Aware Students For Follow Traffic Rules

Mohali 26th October: ------ Lawrence Public Sen. Sec School celebrated traffic awareness week at its campus. The aim of celebrating this event was to educate the basic traffic rules to the students. The main attraction of event was to explain traffic rules in an innovative way. Apart from that students were given live demonstrations so that students might adopt this technology subconsciously. Later, different road signs were also elaborated to the students.  Ajinder Singh (DSP City & Traffic), Ins.  Ram Chander, H.C Kamaljeet Singh & Harjinder Singh visited Lawrence Public School to sensitize the students about the traffic rules.

While speaking on this occasion Ajinder Singh (DSP City & Traffic) said that this excursion is positive effort by the school for the children to increase the understanding of the traffic rules which must be followed when on the road. The officers instructed the children about safety measures i.e. traffic signs, signals, zebra crossing, footpath, importance of wearing helmet, using car belts and explained the use of traffic lights.

Veena Malhotra the principal of Lawrence Public School while extending thanks to DSP Ajinder Singh & his all team for their valuable information given to the children. She also requested them to be strict with the young generation while they are driving as they are valuable resource of a country. She further added that by giving such exposure, we want to bring home the fact that habits can't be taught rather they remain in our mind forever so whatever is learnt at this stage whether discipline or in discipline will cling to us forever and nation can only be disciplined and enlightened when its future leaders are enlightened and disciplined.
