World First Aid Day at Oakridge International School

Mohali,11th September:---Oakridge International School organized an annual campaign to promote the importance of first aid training. The main motive of training was to explain the methods of giving first aid to an injured at the time of emergency to prevent more injuries and saving lives. While giving information of first aid, Dr Rishi Sood from Max healthcare explained how to take care snake bitten or a honeybee bitten and if there is any injury or something goes into eyes.

While speaking with students on this occasion Principal Pranjala Dutta said that First aid training provides more than the knowledge and skills to effectively respond – it also provides the confidence to act when needed. Having the skills to act immediately in an emergency situation like road Accidents and can help to save lives and reduce the impact of injury, but right knowledge only can help to prevent injuries. She further added that curious instincts of students should not be paused; rather they should be prepared for the inevitable. And First Aid training ensure that each and every child stays safe and in any scenario.

Students of school listen attentively and took pledge to help the needy, Apart from that, team of Max was also honoured by the management for taking  initiative of providing valuable information to the children.
