Amway India Launch Men’s Grooming Products "Dynamite":Tripled Production Capacities at Its Baddi Plant

Chandigarh 11th September:--- Amway India launched its new range of Men's Grooming Products under the brand promise of "Power Grooming"  here today in Chandigarh. Comprising of a range of EIGHT power products including an All New Whitening Cream with unique LumiskinTM formulation, Dynamite Facewash with TriActivaTM Complex, Dynamite Shaving Foam, Dynamite Deodorant etc.

 

While speaking to the media on occasion of the launch, Gursharan Singh Cheema, Regional Head North, Amway India said that Dynamite is such as solution that delivers powerful and effective grooming for the new modern Indian male – whether in the metropolitan centres or in emerging markets. He further said that Amway has used the depth of its scientific and market insights driven R&D, drawing from Indian and global experience to bring a whole new product line and experience to its customers. Amway India currently offers 140 products across five categories of Personal Care, Home Care, Nutrition & Wellness, Cosmetics and great value products.

 

Gursharan Singh Cheema added that the Indian market is one of the fastest growing markets globally for Men's grooming and personal care cosmetics and Men's Skincare has increased by 32% overall over the last two years. This is attributed to the increasingly grooming and look conscious youthful male population in India (and India has one of the youngest male populations globally) with enhanced aspirations to look and feel better. Hence having identified this strong latent need and in cognizance such skincare/grooming products, the whole new Dynamite range was born.

 

 

Giving more detail about Amway India's expansion plans Gursharan Singh Cheema said that recently, Amway has tripled production capacities at its leading vendor facility at Baddi, Himachal Pradesh by commissioning four new production lines at an investment of Rs. 55 crores. The first-phase at Baddi saw an investment of Rs 50 crores, taking total investment in Baddi to Rs 105 crores.
