Chhattisgarh Outplay Chandigarh by Ten Wickets in Girls U-15 ODI

Chandigarh, Jan.02, 2026:- UT girls suffered a  ten wicket defeat against Chhattisgarh in their first encounter at Girls Under-15 One Day Trophy Elite match played at The Daly College, Indore.

After winning the toss, Chandigarh opted to bat first and posted a total of 173 for 6 in the stipulated 35 overs. Opener Annvi Rana anchored the innings by scoring 51 off 73 balls which included five boundaries. Aayu added 26  while Riya Yadav contributed 22 runs.

In reply, Chhattisgarh delivered a dominant batting performance by chasing down the target without losing a wicket in just 22.2 overs. Captain and wicketkeeper Yati Sharma scored unbeaten 91  while Geet Dahariya contributed 58.

1984 के चिल्लर हत्याकांड के पीड़ितों को 42 साल बाद भी नहीं मिला इंसाफ: 19 जनवरी को गुरुग्राम में बड़े संघर्ष का ऐलान: दर्शन सिंह घोलिया

Chandigarh, Jan.02, 2026:— 1984 में हरियाणा के चिल्लर, गुड़गांव, पटौदी, गुड़ा महेंद्रगढ़ और दूसरे इलाकों में हुए भयानक सिख हत्याकांड को 42 साल बीत जाने के बावजूद, पीड़ित सिख परिवार अभी भी पूरे इंसाफ से महरूम हैं। दोषियों को सज़ा न मिलना और पीड़ितों को उनके हक न मिलना केंद्र और राज्य सरकारों की परफॉर्मेंस पर गंभीर सवाल खड़े करता है।

इस गंभीर मुद्दे को लेकर होद चिल्लर सिख जस्टिस कमेटी की तरफ से चंडीगढ़ के प्रेस क्लब में एक ज़रूरी इमरजेंसी मीटिंग और प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस की गई। इस मौके पर हरियाणा और दूसरे राज्यों से आए 1984 के पीड़ितों के परिवारों ने एक साथ मिलकर अपनी आवाज़ उठाई और इंसाफ के लिए संघर्ष के अगले पड़ाव पर चर्चा की। के होड़ छिल्लर सिख जस्टिस कमेटी के प्रेसिडेंट दर्शन सिंह घोलिया ने कहा कि पिछले चार दशकों में सरकारों ने सिर्फ आश्वासन और घोषणाएं की हैं, लेकिन पीड़ितों को अभी तक ज़मीनी स्तर पर न्याय नहीं मिला है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह स्थिति डेमोक्रेटिक सिस्टम की नाकामी दिखाती है और पीड़ित परिवारों के साथ बहुत बड़ा अन्याय है।

भाई घोलिया ने ऐलान किया कि अगली ज़रूरी मीटिंग 19 जनवरी को गुड़गांव में होगी ताकि बड़े पैमाने पर संघर्ष शुरू किया जा सके। उन्होंने कहा कि यह लड़ाई तब तक लगातार जारी रहेगी जब तक छिल्लर और दूसरे इलाकों के दोषियों को सज़ा नहीं मिल जाती और पीड़ित परिवारों को सम्मान, न्याय और उनके कानूनी अधिकार नहीं मिल जाते।

इस दौरान यह भी ऐलान किया गया कि हरियाणा सरकार द्वारा दिए गए पीड़ित परिवारों के अपॉइंटमेंट लेटर कैंसिल कर दिए जाएंगे। पीड़ितों ने कहा कि नौकरी या अधूरे फायदे न्याय का विकल्प नहीं हो सकते और असली न्याय तभी है जब दोषियों को सज़ा मिले। प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस के दौरान पीड़ित राम सिंह गुड़गांव, गोपाल सिंह रेवाड़ी (हरियाणा), दर्शन सिंह हेली मंडी पटौदी, अंकित कुमार, हरभजन सिंह हनुमानगढ़, रोबिन कौर गुड़गांव, हरदीप सिंह पटियाला, रविंदर सिंह हरियाणा, अमरीक सिंह, कुलतार सिंह कालियांवाली मंडी सिरसा और हरप्रीत सिंह खालसा अमृतसर के साथ-साथ दूसरे पीड़ित परिवार मौजूद थे। अपने दर्दनाक अनुभव शेयर करते हुए पीड़ितों ने कहा कि वे नेशनल और इंटरनेशनल लेवल पर अपनी आवाज़ उठाने के लिए पक्के इरादे वाले हैं।

आखिर में, भाई दर्शन सिंह घोलिया ने सभी सिख संगठनों, सामाजिक संगठनों, मानवाधिकार संगठनों और इंसाफ पसंद नागरिकों से अपील की कि वे 1984 के पीड़ितों के साथ मजबूती से खड़े हों और इस संघर्ष को और मजबूत करें, ताकि पीड़ित परिवारों को आखिरकार इंसाफ, इज्ज़त और सम्मान मिल सके।

गौरतलब है कि 1984 के चिल्लर हत्याकांड के पीड़ितों के लिए इंसाफ की लड़ाई को लगातार जिंदा रखने वाले दर्शन सिंह घोलिया की भूमिका न सिर्फ तारीफ के काबिल है, बल्कि ऐतिहासिक भी है। चार दशकों से ज़्यादा समय से पीड़ित परिवारों के दर्द, तकलीफ़ और हक़ की आवाज़ बने दर्शन सिंह घोलिया ने बिना थके या डरे यह संघर्ष जारी रखा है।

जब सरकारें बदलती रहीं और वादे सिर्फ़ कागज़ों तक ही सीमित रहे, तब दर्शन सिंह घोलिया पीड़ितों की आवाज़ को सड़कों से लेकर प्रेस क्लब और राष्ट्रीय मंचों तक ले आए। उनके नेतृत्व में होड़ छिल्लर सिख जस्टिस कमेटी ने न सिर्फ़ पीड़ित परिवारों को एकजुट किया बल्कि देश-विदेश में इस अन्याय के ख़िलाफ़ जागरूकता भी फैलाई।

दर्शन सिंह घोलिया का यह पक्का इरादा कि नौकरी या पैसे की मदद न्याय का विकल्प नहीं है, दोषियों को सज़ा ही असली न्याय है" उन्हें एक सच्चा संघर्षशील नेता साबित करता है। आज वह सिर्फ़ एक इंसान नहीं रहे बल्कि 1984 के पीड़ितों की उम्मीद, हिम्मत और पक्के इरादे की निशानी बन गए हैं।

जब तक न्याय की यह लड़ाई खत्म नहीं हो जाती, दर्शन सिंह घोलिया जैसे संघर्षशील नेताओं को इतिहास में सम्मान के साथ याद किया जाता रहेगा।

नववर्ष पर गांव अटावा को विकास की सौगात: जसबीर सिंह बंटी 26 लाख की लागत से फिरनी रोड पर इंटरलॉकिंग पावर ब्लॉक कार्य का शुभारंभ

Chandigarh, Jan.01, 2026:-नववर्ष के पावन अवसर पर गांव अटावा की फिरनी रोड पर 80 एमएम इंटरलॉकिंग पावर ब्लॉक बिछाने के विकास कार्य का विधिवत शुभारंभ किया गया। यह कार्य 26 लाख रुपये की लागत से किया जा रहा है, जिससे गांववासियों को सुरक्षित, सुगम और टिकाऊ आवागमन की सुविधा प्राप्त होगी।

कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत गांव के गुरुद्वारे से पधारे बाबा जसवीर सिंह जस्सी द्वारा अरदास के साथ की गई। उन्होंने गांव की खुशहाली, तरक्की और विकास कार्य के समयबद्ध एवं सफलतापूर्वक पूर्ण होने की कामना की। इसके उपरांत गांव अटावा के प्रधान त्रिलोचन सिंह बंटी ने नारियल तोड़कर कार्य का शुभारंभ किया तथा क्षेत्र के पार्षद एवं सीनियर डिप्टी मेयर जसवीर सिंह बंटी का धन्यवाद प्रकट किया।

इस अवसर पर जेई सुरेश चंद्र ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि फिरनी रोड का यह कार्य आज से आरंभ किया गया है और इसे एक माह के भीतर पूर्ण कर लिया जाएगा। यह परियोजना विधिवत टेंडर प्रक्रिया के अंतर्गत स्वीकृत की गई है।

पूर्व सरपंच  गुरचरण सिंह के पुत्र मलकीत सिंह ने कहा कि लंबे समय से फिरनी रोड की स्थिति जर्जर थी, जिससे ग्रामीणों को आवागमन में कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ रहा था। इंटरलॉकिंग पावर ब्लॉक लगने से न केवल सड़क की सूरत बदलेगी, बल्कि गांव की सुंदरता और सुविधा में भी उल्लेखनीय वृद्धि होगी।

इस मौके पर सेक्टर-42 के प्रधान राजकुमार शर्मा ने सभी का मुंह मीठा कराया और गांववासियों को विकास कार्य की बधाई दी। कार्यक्रम के अंत में गांव की सुख-समृद्धि और मंगलकामनाओं के लिए सामूहिक अरदास की गई तथा चाय-समोसे का लंगर भी लगाया गया।

इसी दौरान पूर्व सरपंच के पुत्र बल्लू ने जानकारी दी कि गांव इटावा में चक्की के पास एसबीआई का नया एटीएम शुरू हो गया है। अब गांववासियों को एटीएम से पैसे निकालने के लिए सेक्टर-42 जाने की आवश्यकता नहीं पड़ेगी, क्योंकि गांव के कोने पर ही यह सुविधा उपलब्ध हो गई है।

The brand closed 2025 with sales of 72,665 cars, registering a 107% year-on-year growth compared to 35,166 units sold in 2024. This exceptional performance makes 2025 Škoda Auto India's biggest year ever, reflecting the surge in momentum across products, markets and customer touchpoints.

 

Commenting on the landmark year, Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India, said that the year 2025 will always remain a special one for us. It marks our 25th anniversary in India, and it has seen us with our most enhanced and diverse product portfolio ever, and we are now at our widest when it comes to network and market presence. All of this, combined with the trust and love our customers have shown us, has driven us to our biggest year ever in India. The overwhelming response to the Kylaq, the continued admiration for the Kodiaq, and the passionate enthusiasm for the return of the Octavia RS reaffirm the strong emotional connect customers share with the brand. India became the first large Škoda market globally to complete a 100% rebranding of its network with the updated Corporate Identity and Design, reinforcing a unified and modern brand experience for the customers. Customer communication took a significant leap forward with the onboarding of Ranveer Singh as Škoda Auto India's first-ever Brand Superstar, adding youthful energy and cultural resonance to the brand. Later in the year, building on this momentum, the 'Fans, Not Owners' campaign celebrated the deep emotional affinity people share with Škoda that goes beyond ownership. The brand also collaborated with global sitar maestro Rishab Sharma for the Octavia RS campaign, bringing a contemporary and expressive lens to performance storytelling and helping to connect with new audiences.

Škoda Auto India strengthened its service ecosystem by expanding the combined sales and aftersales workforce at its dealerships to over 7,500 professionals, supported by more than 25,000 training days during the year. The brand also introduced enhanced ownership benefits, including extended standard warranties across the range, along with feature-led value upgrades aimed at lowering ownership costs and elevating the overall service experience. Trust in the brand's engineering and capability was further reinforced through multiple initiatives. Some of them included the Fans of Škoda Leh expedition. It earned recognition from the India and Asia Book of Records for being the largest convoy to reach Umling La, then the world's highest motorable road. Another such initiative saw the Kodiaq become the first petrol-powered SUV to reach the North Face base camp of Mount Everest.

Chandigarh, Jan.01, 2026:-नए साल के शुभ अवसर पर अखिल भारतीय बैरवा महासभा पंजाब-चंडीगढ़ एवं महिला विंग द्वारा आज महर्षि बलि नाथ जी के पावन जन्मदिन पर भव्य कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। इस अवसर पर हर्षोल्लास के साथ हवन, लंगर वितरण, तथा सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया गया।

कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में श्रीमति कमलेश बनारसी दास- पूर्व मेयर चंडीगढ़, उपस्थित रहीं। इस अवसर पर संगठन के पदाधिकारी एवं सम्मानित सदस्य प्रधान बनारसी दास, लेख राज (जनरल सेक्रेटरी), गौतम गांगुली, बलजोर बंटी सहित बड़ी संख्या में समाज के लोग मौजूद रहे।
