Textile Design Students of NIIFT Showcase Creativity at ‘Suvyan 2024’

Chandigarh, June 09, 2024:- The Northern India Institute of Fashion Technology(NIIFT), Mohali, set up by Government of Punjab, and which is affiliated to I.K. Gujral PTU, Kapurthala, organised 'Suvyan '24', a display exhibition to showcase the final design collection of the graduating students of Textile Design Department at Chandigarh.

The students' three years of rigorous learning and efforts culminated at the Annual Final Collection Showcase – 'Suvyan '24'. This year 'Suvyan' showcased 25 collections by the graduating students of the Textile Design Department. The ensembles included apparels, accessories and home furnishing products. All of the products have been designed, keeping in mind the latest, trending and unique themes that the industry demands.

Chief Guest, Devinder Pal Singh Kharbanda, IAS, Director of Industries and Commerce, Punjab Government and Director General, NIIFT, graced the occasion and praised the hard work and effort of the students. He said that it is a pleasure to see Punjab providing an effective platform –NIIFT to students for learning and growing by gaining professional expertise in the field of fashion.

Speaking during the occasion Dr. Kanu Thind, PCS Director NIIFT said that every year 'Suvyan' presents unique collections of students and displays these in a grand show of creative excellence. 'Suvyan' every year attracts more and more companies related to the textile industry and this builds a relationship with them.

Arshjit, Registrar NIIFT said that textile industry is the core and a necessary element of garment development. It is a matter of pride that NIIFT excels in providing trained professionals in this field.

Dr. Simrita Singh, Principal, NIIFT said that "'Suvyan' is a very good forum to exhibit the latest trends in the textile sector. Our students have created some awe inspiring designs which caught the attention of all visitors.

Dr. Shweta Sharma, Course Coordinator, Textile Design Department, said that "Suvyan has been very close to my heart. Students put in their best in creating beautiful pieces of work which ultimately are recognized by the industry.

Textile Design Awards were also given. The Best Design Collection went to Arifa Nigar, Nisha's collection was adjudged the 'Most Innovative'; Srajal Kashyap's collection was the 'Most Commercial', Madhulika received the 'Best Design Methodology' award and the 'Special Jury Award' went to Shivani and Arushi.

The eminent jury to evaluate the collections for the awards included art proponents, textile designers and industry experts. The respective jury members were Sanjay Kulshrestha, Vice President (Woven), Nahar Industries, Lalru and Ravita Kohli, Senior Designer, Vardhman Industries, Baddi.

The faculty members Dr Shweta Sharma, HOD-Textile Design Department and Dr Meeta Gawri- HOD –Fashion Marketing & Management (FMM) Department played a vital role in guiding and mentoring the students.

It is notable that each student worked with an industrial client for a period of 5 months which led to the development of their individual collections and exhibition of the design work. These industries were Nahar Fabrics, Gaurika Fabrics, Jawandsons Pvt. Ltd., Kavsets; Soul Weaves; Rattan Textile; Raj Overseas; Vardhaman; Panash International; Laaj International; Centex; Reshma Creations; Trident, etc.

महादेव सेवा दल ने लगाई छबील

GJIMT Chairman J S Bedi & Director Dr. Aneet Bedi actively participated and served at the Chabeel. Dr. Aneet Bedi's gesture of distributing Chabeel served as a powerful reminder of the importance of inclusivity, mutual respect, and communal harmony.

The event saw the enthusiastic participation of officials and employees of GJIMT, who worked diligently to ensure the smooth service at the chabeel. Chabeel holds great significance in representing the ethos of selfless service, equality, and communal harmony. The practice of distributing sweet water/milk, particularly during the scorching summer season, exemplifies the spirit of sharing and compassion towards fellow human beings.

Chabeel marks the remembrance to the torture meted out to Guru Arjan Dev Ji and finally the relief that river Ravi provided to him. Generally On any other Gurparv, Langars are organized but on Guru Arjan Dev Ji's martyrdom day when symbolically,  Chabeels are set up  on the roadsides to provide relief from the hot scorching sun to travelers.

This refreshing drink is served to the public to pass on the message that one should be eternally optimistic. Chabeel, a social service, is a sure way to soothe parched souls on a summer day.

निरंकारी बाल संत समागम: हमें आगे बढ़ना है लेकिन दूसरों को गिरा कर नहीं: ओ पी निरंकारी

Chandigarh, June 09, 2024:- सन्त निरंकारी सत्संग भवन सैक्टर 30-ऐ में चण्डीगढ़ के बच्चों द्वारा एक विशाल निरंकारी बाल संत समागम का आयोजन किया गया जिसकी अध्यक्षता चण्डीगढ के जोन के जोनल इंचार्ज ओ पी निरंकारी ने की । इस बाल समागम में रामदरबार, सैक्टर 26, सैक्टर 30, मलोया, दड़वा,  के ऐरिया से सैकड़ों की संख्या में बच्चे उपस्थित हुए। बच्चों ने अलग-अलग भाषाओं अर्थात हिन्दी, पंजाबी, इंगलिश, हिमाचली, राजस्थानी भाषा का सहारा लेते हुए भजन, कविता, कव्वाली, स्किट, भाषण, अवतार बाणी के शब्द कीर्तन आदि के रूप में अपने भाव व्यक्त किए । बच्चों ने अपनी अपनी आईटम में यह बताने की कोशिश की कि निरंकारी मिशन सारी मानवता का मिशन है यह किसी विशेष मजहब जाति धर्म या वर्ण से सम्बन्धित नहीं है।  यह प्यार का मिशन है और प्यार प्रभु से जोड़ता है ।

 ओ पी निरंकारी ने इस अवसर पर उपस्थित बच्चों को सम्बोधित करते हुए कहा कि हमें हर क्षेत्र में आगे बढ़ना है लेकिन दूसरों को गिरा कर या धक्का देकर नहीं यदि इस तरह से हम आगे बढ़ेंगे तो इसका हमें कोई लाभ नहीं होगा। निरंकारी जी ने बड़ों का आदर-सत्कार करने तथा कम से कम बोलने व अधिक से अधिक सीखने के लिए भी बच्चों को प्रेरित किया।

  ओ पी निरंकारी ने आगे कहा कि जिस प्रकार किसी भी सिस्टम से पूरा लाभ तभी उठाया जा सकता है यदि हम उसे समय-समय पर अपग्रेड व अपडेट करते रहें।  इसी प्रकार हमने सत्गुरू माता सुदीक्षा जी महाराज द्वारा दिए जा रहे ब्रह्मज्ञान से पूरा लाभ उठाने के लिए स्वयं को भी अपग्रेड करना है अर्थात समय निकाल कर सत्संग में आना है और अपडेट करने के लिए हमें यहां आए प्रवचनों व समय समय पर आने वाले सत्गुरू माता जी के आदेशों को जीवन में अपनाना होगा ।

भाजपा नेता दीपक शर्मा ने सेक्टर 32 सी में बिजली की समस्या का हल करवाया

Chandigarh, June 08, 2024:-टेंनामेट कालोनी सेक्टर 32 सी में अस्थाई तौर पर ट्रांसफार्मर लगाकर लोगों को समर्पित किया गया। 

वार्ड प्रेसिडेंट दीपक शर्मा ने बताया कि काफी समय से सेक्टर 32 सी टेंनामेंट कॉलोनी में इलेक्ट्रिसिटी लोड कैपेसिटी कम होने के कारण बिजली की समस्या* चली आ रही थी। जिसके कारण इलेक्ट्रिकल उपकरण सही ढंग से नहीं चल पा रहे थे। उस समस्या का हल करवाने में हम कामयाब रहे। और उन्होंने बताया कि पिछले कुछ दिनों से 10-10 घंटे तक टेंनामेंट कॉलोनी सेक्टर 32 सी की लाइट जा रही थी। इलेक्ट्रिसिटी लोड कैपेसिटी कम होने के कारण स्थानीय लोग काफी परेशान थे। समस्या की *गंभीरता को देखते हुए बीजेपी के वार्ड अध्यक्ष ने इलेक्ट्रिकल डिपार्टमेंट के एस.सी अनिल धमीजा जी के संज्ञान में विषय को* लाया गया। और तुरंत अनिल धमीजा जी और उनकी टीम ने अस्थाई तौर पर ट्रांसफार्मर लगाने का निर्णय लिया और कार्य की शुरुआत हो गई है। और आज ट्रांसफार्मर भी लगा दिया हैं। जिसके कारण अब स्थानीय लोगों को बिजली की समस्या से निजात मिलेगी। अंत में सेक्टर 32 सी के लोगों ने दीपक शर्मा धन्यवाद किया जिनके कारण यह कार्य संभव हो सका। दीपक शर्मा ने अंत में कहा कि भारतीय जनता पार्टी कार्यकर्ता हमेशा लोगों की सेवा के लिए तैयार रहता है। चाहें कैसी भी परिस्थिति हो।

Rockstar Twins to Represent India at Prestigious European Dance Championships

Chandigarh, Jun 7, 2024:- Tricity's budding stars, Tanya and Tanisha, 14-year-old twin sensations of Rockstar Academy, are once again set to make the nation proud by representing team India in various world dance championships across Europe this summer. The dynamic duo will compete in four major events, bringing their exceptional talent to the international stage.

According to Rockstar Academy director Sameer Mahajan, Tanya and Tanisha will first represent India in the World Dance Championship to be held in Budapest, Hungary, on June 12th to 16th, 2024; Dancing Italy, Italy on July 21st to 24th, 2024; Dance World Cup, Prague, June 27th to July 6th, 2024, and Global Dance Open, Netherlands, on July 9th to 13th, 2024.

Last year, the twins showcased their prowess on the international scene by winning gold medals at the championships in South Korea and Dubai, a testament to their exceptional skills and dedication, added Sameer.

The twins began their dance journey at the tender age of four and have been training under the prestigious Rockstar Academy, a Dance Training and Film Production Studio, which boasts of 18 studios in and around the city. Their training is guided by their talented choreographers, Sakshi Rauthan and Harpreet Dubey.

Rockstar Studios director Sameer Mahajan, who has been instrumental in providing international and national platforms for young talents, revealed that Tanya and Tanisha are not just fulfilling their dreams but are also striving to achieve the aspirations of their parents, Anamika Kashyap and Vinod Kumar, who dream of seeing them as the best performers in the world.

ड्डू माजरा में मनीष तिवारी की जीत का जशन मनाया

Chandigarh, June 07, 2024:- ब्रेन ट्यूमर एक न्यूरोलॉजिकल विकार है और हर साल दुनिया भर में कई लोगों को प्रभावित करता है। इस बीमारी और इससे जुड़ी जटिलताओं के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाने के लिए हर साल 8 जून को विश्व ब्रेन ट्यूमर दिवस मनाया जाता है।

इंटरनेशनल एसोसिएशन ऑफ कैंसर रजिस्ट्रीज (आईएसीआर) ने कहा है कि भारत में हर साल लगभग 28,000 लोगों में ब्रेन ट्यूमर का पता चलता है और इस बीमारी के कारण हर साल 24,000 से अधिक मरीजों की मौत हो जाती है। रिपोर्ट में आगे कहा गया है कि भारत में ब्रेन ट्यूमर की घटनाएँ प्रति 100000 जनसंख्या पर लगभग 5-10 हैं।

फोर्टिस हॉस्पिटल मोहाली के न्यूरो सर्जरी विभाग के कंसल्टेंट डॉ. (लेफ्टिनेंट कर्नल) हरमनदीप सिंह बराड़ ने एक एडवाइजरी के माध्यम से शहरवासियों को ब्रेन ट्यूमर और इसके उपचार विकल्पों के बारे में जानकारी दी।

डॉ. बराड़ ने कहा कि ब्रेन ट्यूमर, मस्तिष्क या उसके आवरण (मेनिन्जेस) में कोशिकाओं की असामान्य वृद्धि है, "यह घातक (कैंसरयुक्त) या सौम्य (गैर-कैंसरयुक्त) हो सकता है। केवल एक तिहाई (27.9%) ब्रेन ट्यूमर घातक होते हैं। यह प्राथमिक सीएनएस ट्यूमर या सेकंडरी ट्यूमर हो सकता है।"

सामान्य जोखिम कारक पर चर्चा करते हुए डॉ बराड़ ने बताया कि यह आनुवंशिक या वंशानुगत हो सकता है। लगभग 5-10% रोगियों में ब्रेन ट्यूमर का सकारात्मक पारिवारिक इतिहास होता है। हाई रेडिएशन के संपर्क में आने से ब्रेन कैंसर का खतरा बढ़ जाता है। ब्रेन ट्यूमर किसी भी उम्र में विकसित हो सकता है लेकिन यह जीवन के पांचवें और छठे दशक में अधिक आम है। घातक (कैंसरयुक्त) ट्यूमर पुरुषों में अधिक आम हैं और सौम्य घाव अक्सर महिलाओं में होते हैं।

इस बात पर जोर देते हुए कि ब्रेन ट्यूमर के चेतावनी संकेत आकार, स्थान और उसके प्रकार पर निर्भर करते हैं, डॉ. बराड़ ने बताया कि सबसे आम लक्षणों में सिरदर्द शामिल है, जो सुबह के समय गंभीर होता है, और उल्टी के साथ जुड़ा होता है। व्यक्ति को दौरे या फिट, हाथ या पैर में कमजोरी या सुन्नता (लकवा), बोलने में गड़बड़ी, दृष्टि की समस्या, सुनने की समस्या, निगलने में कठिनाई और चलते समय असंतुलन या चक्कर का अनुभव भी हो सकता है।"

इस बात पर चर्चा करते हुए कि ब्रेन ट्यूमर का निदान सिरदर्द या दौरे जैसे नैदानिक ​​लक्षणों की उपस्थिति पर निर्भर करता है, डॉ. बरार ने कहा, "सिर की एनसीसीटी (कंप्यूटेड टोमोग्राफी) और ब्रेन की कंट्रास्ट एमआरआई (मैग्नेटिक रेजोनेंस इमेजिंग) जैसी न्यूरोलॉजिकल जांच और रेडियोलॉजिकल जांच के साथ-साथ अन्य संबंधित लक्षण बीमारी का पता लगाने में मदद कर सकते हैं।"

उपचार विकल्पों में सर्जरी, बायोप्सी, ट्यूमर को निकालने के लिए क्रैनियोटॉमी और सबसे उन्नत न्यूरोनेविगेशन-आधारित सर्जरी शामिल है, जो सामान्य ब्रेन टिश्यू को नुकसान पहुँचाए बिना ट्यूमर को ठीक से निकाल सकती है। ट्यूमर के प्रकार के आधार पर, कीमोथेरेपी और रेडियेशन चिकित्सा का उपयोग अकेले या सर्जिकल प्रबंधन के सहायक के रूप में किया जा सकता है।

उन्होंने कहा कि  हालांकि ब्रेन ट्यूमर को रोका नहीं जा सकता लेकिन स्वस्थ जीवन शैली, संतुलित आहार, नियमित व्यायाम, स्वास्थ्य जांच और अनावश्यक  जोखिम जैसे पर्यावरणीय खतरों से बचने से शुरुआती पहचान और उपचार में मदद मिल सकती है।"

Chandigarh, June 05, 2024:- चंडीगढ़ लोकसभा के प्रत्याशी मनीष तिवारी की जीत की खुशी में प्रदेश सचिव बिरेन्द्र रॉय , वार्ड नंबर 19 रामदरबार की ब्लॉक अध्यक्षा सोनिया गुरचरण सिंह की अगुआई में रामदरबार में एक जीत का जुलूस निकाला गया जिसमें सैकड़ों कार्यकताओं और निवासियों ने मिलकर पूरे रामदरबार में ढोल की थाप पर जश्न मनाते हुए एक दूसरे को मिठाइयाँ खिलाई और मुबारकबाद दी। इस मौके पर ओम पाल चौटाला, ओम कैलाश, जंग बहादुर, ऋषि तुषामर ,  राजिंदर बजाज, सुनील baroliya, साहिल कल्याण, रोहित चौटाला,  सुरिन्दर कुमार, सोनू कुमार, अशोक कुमार, बेदु जी,  राजू, प्रकाश सिंह, गुलशन कुमार ललिता परचा, सीमा देवी,  काजल,  बबीता, मनीषा, पी के चतुर्वेदी,  गुलशन कुमार,  राज कुमार,  श्री राम,  मोनू,  हिमांशु, सतीश कुमार , अजय कुमार, ,आशु,  अंकुश तिवारी,  सागर , के अलावा सैकड़ों लोगों ने उपस्थित दर्ज करायी।

चंडीगढ़ से नवनिर्वाचित सांसद मनीष तिवारी ने चंडीगढ़ प्रदेश कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष एच.एस.लकी के साथ आज राजीव गांधी कांग्रेस भवन सेक्टर 35 चंडीगढ़ में कांग्रेस पार्टी के कार्यकर्ताओं से मुलाकात की और उनका आभार व्यक्त किया।

कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं ने तिवारी और लकी को मालाऔ से लाद दिया और उनके तथा कांग्रेस पार्टी के पक्ष में नारे लगाए।

पार्टी कार्यकर्ताओं में इतना उत्साह था कि करीब 3 घंटे तक कांग्रेस भवन कार्यकर्ताओं से भरा रहा। कई नेताओं, पार्षदों, विभिन्न संगठनों के प्रतिनिधियों ने दोनों नेताओं को गुलदस्ते और सिरोपा भेंट किए।

मीडियाकर्मियों और कार्यकर्ताओं को संबोधित करते हुए तिवारी ने चंडीगढ़ के मतदाताओं को उनके समर्थन के लिए धन्यवाद दिया और कहा कि वे लोगों की प्रतिक्रिया से अभिभूत हैं। उन्होंने चंडीगढ़ की बेहतरी के लिए काम करने का वादा किया और कहा कि जल्द ही चीजें होने लगेंगी। एच.एस.लकी ने निष्पक्ष रिपोर्टिंग के लिए मीडियाकर्मियों को धन्यवाद दिया और कहा कि जल्द ही हम जमीनी स्तर पर काम करना शुरू कर देंगे।  उन्होंने कांग्रेस और इंडिया अलायंस के कार्यकर्ताओं को उनके पूर्ण समर्थन के लिए धन्यवाद दिया और कहा कि जल्द ही पार्टी सांसद इंडिया अलायंस के कार्यकर्ताओं और नेताओं से मिलेंगे और मतदाताओं को धन्यवाद देने और उनकी समस्याओं को सुनने और उनका समाधान करने के लिए विभिन्न कॉलोनियों, गांवों और सेक्टरों का दौरा करेंगे।
