ਐਨ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਲੋਕ ਹੁਣ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੇ ਬਹਿਕਾਵੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀ ਆਉਣਗੇ ਕਿਉਕਿ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਹੁਣ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਹਿਣ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਬਣ ਕੇ ਰਹਿ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਲੋਕ ਮਾਰੂ ਨੀਤੀਆਂ ਕਾਰਨ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਹਰ ਵਰਗ ਦੁੱਖੀ ਹੈ। ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਬੇਰੁਜਗਾਰੀ, ਭੁੱਖਮਰੀ, ਰਿਸ਼ਵਤਖੋਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਿੰਗਾਈ ਹੱਦਬੰਨੇ ਪਾਰ ਕਰ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਅਰਥਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੇ ਪੱਧਰ ਤੇ ਨਿਘਾਰ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਲੋਕ ਹੁਣ ਕੰਮ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਫੋਕੇ ਵਾਅਦਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸ੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਲੋ ਚੰਗੀ ਕਾਰਗੁਜਾਰੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੀ ਮੁੜ ਫਤਵਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਦੇ ਤੇ ਲੜੀਆਂ ਜਾਣਗੀਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਮਜਬੂਤ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ ਸੰਕਲਪ ਹਨ। ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਹਿਯੋਗੀ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮੁੱਚੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੁਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹਾਰ ਦਾ ਮੂਹ ਦੇਖਣਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ। ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਵਲੋ ਮੁਲਾਜਮ ਵਰਗ ਵਲੋ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਰੋਸ਼ ਧਰਨਿਆ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਪੁਛੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸ੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਮੁਲਾਜਮ ਪੱਖੀ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਦਰਵਾਜੇ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਮੁਲਾਜਮ ਵਰਗ ਲਈ ਖੁਲੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਵੀ ਮੁਲਾਜਮਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਜਾਇਜ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਹਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਿਲ ਬੈਠ ਕੇ ਹੱਲ ਕੱਢ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

 ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਨਵੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਗਏ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਬਲਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਕਾਰਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜੋ ਜਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪਰਕਾਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਅਤੇ ਉਪ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸੁਖਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ਸੌਂਪੀ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਰੀ ਤਨਦੇਹੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਭਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਸਹਿਕਾਰੀ ਬੈਂਕ ਦੀਆਂ 21 ਬ੍ਰਾਂਚਾ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਹੀ ਆਨ ਲਾਈਨ ਹਨ। ਬੈਂਕ ਦੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਖਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਾਰਗੁਜਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਰ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

Mohali 03^rd March:-- The onset of joint pain amongst Indians is 10-15 years early due to overuse of steroids and alcoholism. Sharing this, and more information on why joint pain had become such a common malady in the country, Dr (Prof) Ramesh K Sen, Director-Orthopaedics-Fortis Hospital Mohali and Prof Ross Crawford, FRACS, Chair in Orthopaedic Research at the Queensland University of Technology, Australia addressed mediapersons, here today.

 While interacting with Media Dr Sen, said that the number of joint replacement surgeries in the world is increasing by almost 20-25% every year. While there is increase in level of awareness and faith in surgical treatment that is contributing to this rise, there is also an upsurge in the number of patients in the various countries. Dr Sen explained that India, unlike developed parts of the world, also witnesses an early onset of Hip Joint Pain amongst the population due to a disease called Avascular Necrosis (AVN). “AVN is described as the death of tissue or cartilage between hip joints due to discontinued or restricted blood supply. This cartilage is responsible for smooth movement of the bone joints and acts as a cushion between the two bones. However, with this cartilage wearing out, the bones come in contact with each other, leading to severe pain. Usually any injury, dislocation of joint bones or excessive alcoholism or use of steroids and painkillers at a young age, could lead to AVN. Since its symptoms develop quite gradually and remain mild for a long period of time, patients often show up at the stage when they are hardly left for any other option than joint replacement. Dr. Sen further said that Hip replacement surgery has been giving a new lease of life to millions of patients across the world every year. The surgery has helped many patients get back on their feet with vastly improved quality of life. Recent advents in technology have made it possible for complicated surgeries like hip replacement to be carried out with greater ease and higher rates of success.  Experts at the workshop were convinced that this would go a long way in improving overall quality of life of the people in the state.

More than 2000 Candidates Participates in Quest Mega Job Fair

He said that the entire Punjab is engrossed with the name of Narinder Modi and it is being felt as a Tsunami in the political circles of the state. He said that the campaign “One Note Kamal Par Vote” will bring a change in the mindset of the people to take out the country from the mess of the UPA. He said that this campaign will ensure winning of all the 13 seats of Lok Sabha in Punjab and will help form NDA government under the leadership of Narinder Modi. Satya Pal Jain was addressing a rally of laborers, which was organized by the Mazdoor Sewa Samiti at Labour Chowk in Sector 40-41, on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri Celebrations. Hundreds of workers attended the rally.

He said that during the Congress rule, the common man is struggling feed his/her family two times a day, but the big corrupt leaders like 'Bhai-Bhatija and Mama-Bhanja grab crores and crores of rupees using corrupt means in a single day. He said that the BJP by projecting a tea vendor's son as the Prime Minister of India has made crores and crores of poor people feel proud of it.
