Mohali 01st March:-- Quest Group of Institutions organized Job Fairs in the region in which more than 2000 students from more than 100 institutions of Uttar Pradesh, Uttranchal, Himachal Pradesh, J & K, Haryana , Punjab and New Delhi participated. The students from diverse streams were offered jobs based on written test, Group Discussions and Personal Interview as per the criteria of the companies.
More than 25 prominent national and international brands like Religare, Pernord Ricard, Amber Group India, Competent Synergies, Kandhari Beverages, Platinum Infosys, Cheema Boilers, Aerial Telecom Services, Eureka Electrosoft Solutions Pvt. Ltd. , Fore Solutions, Catalyst One, Trigma Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Techkaleido, Hitecpoint, Indivar, Rev Infotech, Allengers Infotech, Thotslab/ Mind Edutainment, Crest Techno Soft, CAPP Developer , SIT Pvt Ltd., Videocon, Steel Strips Wheels Ltd., GI Group etc came for selection participated in this event and offered Jobs at packages ranging from 1.5 Lacs to 5.50 Lacs per Annum.
The event was inaugurated by Mr. D.S. Sekhon, Chairman of the Group. During his interaction Chairman Sekhon emphasized that We need to provide the students good human values and positive attitude apart from technical skills, so that India can become a prosperous and peaceful nation in the times to come. If we want to prosper, the only way forward for us is to have positive minded and skillful youth”.
The students participated in large number despite of persistent rain. Total 282 students shortlisted by the companies with the salary packages ranging from 1.5 Lacs to 5.50 Lacs per annum.
Vice Chairman Harinder Kanda & J.P.S Dhaliwal said that this Job Fair was one of its kind as the range of Jobs offered were for students of 10+2 till Post Graduates. They further added that the Quest Group shall continue to provide such employment opportunities to the students in the region, so as to make them contribute in the development of the country & promised to organize again such job fest soon again.
