Chandigarh, Feb.01, 2026:-The budget presented by the central government is utterly disappointing. There is nothing new in this budget.The budget offers nothing for women, nothing for the youth, and nothing for the manufacturing sector.
The Chandigarh administration has also received less funding than before because the people of Chandigarh will have to bear the consequences of not fully utilizing the funds allocated in the previous budget. This is why a reduction of ₹460 crore has been made in Chandigarh's budget.
This will significantly impact the development of Chandigarh city.
