Mohali , Nov.04, 2025:-Gian Jyoti Global School celebrated the 556th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the divine guide of humanity, with profound devotion and spiritual grace. The school's morning assembly was transformed into a sacred spiritual congregation, radiating peace, devotion, and divine energy. During this visit, the students also paid obeisance at the Gurdwara Sahib in Phase 2, Mohali.
The celebration commenced with Ardas and recitation of the sacred Mool Mantra, offered collectively by students and staff, invoking the universal message of "ੴ". The atmosphere grew spiritually vibrant as students rendered soulful Gurbani keertan, including the hymn "Satgur Nanak Pragtiya, Mitt Dhund Jag Chanan Hoya", spreading divine serenity across the campus. Ravjeet, a student of Class IX, shared an inspiring speech on Guru Nanak Dev Ji's life and his divine principles of Naam Japna, Kirat Karni, and Vand Chhakna. Another student, Gurseerat, recited a heartfelt poem dedicated to Guru Sahib, expressing deep reverence and gratitude. A short play based on the historical Sacha Sauda Sakhi was beautifully presented, highlighting the values of compassion, honesty, and selfless service — the core teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Ms. Gian Jyot shared motivating thoughts and encouraged students to follow Guru Sahib's eternal teachings of Sarbat da Bhala (welfare of all), righteous earning, humanity, and courage to stand against injustice. She reminded the students that Guru Nanak Dev Ji's divine message continues to guide the world towards peace and unity.
To honor Guru Sahib's love for nature, the Principal initiated the "Nanak Bagichi" plantation drive. Students planted saplings across the school campus, emphasizing care for the environment and the value of nurturing life.
The event concluded with Ardas and distribution of Prasad. The spiritual celebration beautifully blended devotion, culture, and human values, inspiring all to walk the path of righteousness and service to humanity.
