Mohali, Oct. 01, 2025:-Gian Jyoti Global School, Phase 2 celebrated the auspicious festival of Dussehra with great enthusiasm and devotion on its campus. The event was specifically aimed at reminding students of the victory of good over evil and the timeless virtues embodied in Indian culture.
The celebration commenced with a special speech by students, highlighting the significance of Dussehra and its message of truth, righteousness, and courage. The campus came alive with a fancy dress display as students, dressed up as epic characters from the Ramayana such as Lord Rama, Sita, Hanuman, and Ravana, captivated the audience with their colorful costumes and expressions.
A thought-provoking Nukkad Natak (street play) on the theme "Victory of Good over Evil" was performed by senior students. The play effectively emphasized the importance of honesty, discipline, and respect in daily life, making the festival's moral values relevant to the present generation. The program also included reflections on the virtues of devotion and humility, encouraging students to adopt these qualities.
The Principal, Gianjot, appreciated the collective efforts of the students and teachers. She stated that such celebrations not only connect young learners with their cultural roots but also inspire them to lead lives guided by moral values. The event concluded on a high note, with loud cheers of "Jai Shri Ram" echoing across the campus, filling the atmosphere with positivity and festive spirit.
