Mohali, Oct.01, 2025:-Ashmah International School, Sector-70, celebrated the festival of Dussehra with great enthusiasm and reverence, commemorating the victory of Lord Rama. The entire campus was vibrantly decorated with flowers, buntings, and colorful lights for the occasion.
The primary motive for organizing the event was to impart knowledge to students about India's rich heritage. The celebration began with an explanation of the significance of Ram Leela and Dussehra, symbolizing the victory of good over evil.
Later, students dressed in the vibrant attires of mythological figures like Lord Rama, Sita, Lakshman, Ravana, and Hanuman enacted various scenes from the Ram Leela. The dramatic re-enactment depicted the key events leading to the defeat of the demon Ravan, culminating the celebration.
Speaking at the event, J.S. Kesar, Director, Ashmah International School, said that the Ram Leela and Dussehra are dramatic re-enactments of Lord Rama's life, which inspire us to follow the path of truth and motivates us to live with love, affection, and discipline. School Principal Suchi Grover urged the students to establish rules and regulations to achieve success in life.
