The Old Sanawarians Society Hosted the First Edition of the Alumni T20 Triangular Cricket Tournament  Mayo College Declared Winner of the Tournament

Chandigarh, Sept.23, 2025:-- The Old Sanawarians Society Hosted the first edition of the Alumni T20 Triangular Cricket Tournament at Mohali Stadium. With alumni of The Doon School-Dehra Dun, Mayo College-Ajmer and Lawrence School,  Sanawar participating. 

The Old Boys of Mayo College were the winners, defeating the Doon School team by 60 runs in the finals.

The Mayo College Team led by Maaz Khan were undefeated in the tournament winning both their league matches and the final vs Doon. 

Sparsh Kothari (Mayo) was the highest run scorer of the tournament with 140 runs including two half centuries. Sanjay Joshi (Mayo) and Kabir Sethi (Doon) were the highest wickets takers with five wickets each.  

Uday Totuka (Mayo), Rehan Verma (Sanawar) and Dhanvi Shukla (Doon) were the other half centurions. The tournament retired batsmen after scoring 50 runs. 

Animesh Singh (Mayo) took 4 wickets in the final and was adjudged the man of the match. Vineet Kunzru (Doon) took 3 wickets in an over vs Sanawar.

During the event, Siddhant Sharma- Jt. Secretary PCA, Brig. Adarsh Bhutail- Old Sanawarian Society President, Raghuvendra Singh, Mentor Doon School Old Boys Society and Justice Rajive Bhalla were the Guest of Honour during the event.
