Chandigarh, Sept.14, 2025:–Rapido, India's leading bike-taxi service, successfully organized a special Rewards and Recognition Programme for its Captains. The event was held at Hotel Pearl, Chandigarh.
On this occasion, Mayor Harpreet Kaur Babla was the Chief Guest and felicitated the top 50 Captains who demonstrated outstanding performance. Approximately 250-300 Captains participated in the program and shared their inspiring stories on stage.
Mayor Harpreet Kaur Babla, said that platforms like Rapido not only provide employment opportunities to youth but also contribute significantly to the city's mobility and development.

Rapido, said that the hard work and dedication of our Captains is the real strength of Rapido. This honor is a symbol of that. He added further that. Rapido, which was established in 2015, now operates in more than 295 cities and provides approximately 45 lakh rides daily with more than 50 lakh Captains.
