Chandigarh, Sept.26, 2025:--An all round performance by Armaan Wadhwa claimed 3 wickets & match winning 54 not out runs enabled Minerva Academy Cricket Club beat UT Cricket Association, Chandigarh by 3 Wickets & entered in Semifinal in the ongoing 30th All india J. P. Atray Memorial Cricket tournament played here today at Cricket Stadium, Sector-16, Chandigarh.
Armaan Wadhwa of Minerva Academy Cricket Club, Chandigarh was declared player of the match for his out standing all round performance.
Batting first UT Cricket Association scored 269 runs in 50 overs with the loss of 9 wickets.Shivam Bhambri scored highest 52 runs , Caption Manan Vohra scored 51 runs, Nikhil Sharma Scored 41 runs , Tushar Joshi scored 41 runs while Arjun Azad scored 22 runs.for bowling side Minerva Academy Cricket Club bowlers Armaan Wadhwa & Tejpreet Cricketer boths were claimed 3-3 Wickets each while Sumit beniwal & J.Singh boths were claimed 1-1 Wicket.In reply Minerva Academy, Cricker Club achieved the target runs in 48 overs witu the loss of 8 wickets. In the 4th quarterfinal match was played at TDL Cricket Stadium , Panchkula .An Accurate bowling spell by Harsh Tyagi enabled Delhi Ran Star Cricket Club beat Reserve bank of india ( RBI) by 7 wickets & entered in Semifinal in the 30th All india J.P.Atray Memorial Cricket Tounament played here today at TDL Cricket Stadium , Panchkula.Harsh Tyagi of Delhi Ran Star Cricket Club was declared player of the match.
Former Indian Cricketer Ali Murtaza gave away the player of the match Prize alongwith Randhir Singh Coach of Delhi Ran Star team & Match Refree Amarjit Kumar.
Batting first RBI team bundled all out only 168 runs in 45 overs.Chiranjeevi scored 73 runs , Pranay Sharma scored 19 runs , Kuldeep Hooda scored 17 runs while Rajesh Bishnoi scored 16 runs.for bowling side Delhi Ran Star Cricket Club bowlers Rahul A Chaudhary claimed 4 wickets , Harsh Tyagi claimed 2 wickets While Prikshit, Shubham Dubey & Vaibhav Kandpal All were claimed 1-1 Wicket each.In reply Delhi Ran Star Cricket Club achieved the target 171 runs in 25.4 overs witu the loss of 3 wickets only.Yash Dabas scored highest 69 runs , Sarthak Ranjan scored 39 runs , Yajas R Sharma scored 34 runs not out while Keshav R Singh scored 24 runs not out.for bowling side RBI india bowler Jay Nayak claimed 2 wickets.
Tomorrows first Semifinal will be played at TDL Cricket Stadium, Panchkula between Indian Railways & Delhi Ran Star Cricket Club while Second Semifinal match will played at Cricket Stadium, Sector-16, Chandigarh between Haryana Cricket Association & Minerva Academy Cricket Club, Chandigarh .
According to Caption Sushil Kapoor the final match will be played at IS Bindra PCA cricket Stadium , Mohali on 29th September at 9.a.m and after that Prize distribution function will be at 4.pm.
