Chandigarh, June 23, 2025:--Today, the Aam Aadmi Party Chandigarh organized a grand victory celebration at its Sector 39 office to mark the party's resounding wins in the Ludhiana West (Punjab) and Visavadar (Gujarat) Assembly by-elections. On this occasion, AAP Chandigarh President Vijaypal Singh extended warm congratulations by offering sweets to Punjab Cabinet Minister Harpal Singh Cheema and Transport Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar. The event was attended by AAP General Secretary Omkar Aulakh, along with senior leaders and volunteers from both Punjab and Chandigarh.
In the Ludhiana West by-election, AAP's Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora defeated senior Congress leader Bharat Bhushan Ashu by 10,637 votes, registering a significant victory. Meanwhile, in Visavadar (Gujarat), AAP's senior leader Gopal Italia triumphed over BJP's Kirit Patel by a margin of 17,554 votes. These wins have further strengthened Aam Aadmi Party's grassroots support and bolstered its national presence.
In his address, Vijaypal Singh said that this victory is a reflection of the people's trust, the hard work of party workers, and AAP's honest politics. He remarked that the public has made it clear that they want politics of performance, not false promises. He also thanked the workers for their dedication and selfless service.
