Mohali, June 09, 2025:--Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT), Phase 2, hosted its 21st National Conference on campus, with the central theme being "India's Economic Evolution: Balancing Global Competition, Innovation, and Sustainable Growth." The conference saw participation from scholars, researchers, and academicians across the country who engaged in discussions on the relevant topic. The event served as a vibrant platform for intellectual discourse, with over 20 research papers presented during the technical sessions. These sessions provided valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities shaping India's economic trajectory.
The Keynote Address at this conference was delivered by Dr. Neeraj Sharma, Dean Academics at Gian Jyoti Institute, who emphasized the vital importance of innovation and sustainability in driving India's long-term economic growth amidst global competition. A major highlight of the event was the Best Paper Award, conferred upon Ms. Ridhima Bedi, Research Scholar at Punjabi University, Patiala, for her impactful research paper titled: "Challenges and Barriers to ICT Implementation in the Life Insurance Sector: A Dual Perspective of Employees and Customers."
Earlier, during the inaugural session, J.S. Bedi, Chairman of Gian Jyoti, emphasized that such events offer valuable opportunities to understand and adapt to the evolving environment. Dr. Aneet Bedi, Director of Gian Jyoti, congratulated participants on the occasion of the 21st National Conference, noting that the annual event serves as an ideal platform for sharing views and experiences.
