Chandigarh, Mar.11, 2025:– UT girls suffered their second consecutive defeat in the Women's U-23 One Day Trophy, falling to Rajasthan by 99 runs. Rajasthan while opting to bat first posted a formidable 260/8 in 50 overs wherein skipper AD Garg leading the charge with a brilliant 100 off 107 balls. JD Choudhary (55) scored a half century. Chandigarh's bowlers led by Nandani Sharma (3/35), fought hard but couldn't contain the opposition.

Rajasthan while opting to bat first posted a formidable 260/8 in 50 overs wherein skipper AD Garg leading the charge with a brilliant 100 off 107 balls. JD Choudhary (55) scored a half century. Chandigarh's bowlers led by Nandani Sharma (3/35), fought hard but couldn't contain the opposition.
In response, Chandigarh struggled to build partnerships and were bowled out for 161 in 49.5 overs. Despite notable contributions from Smayra Thakur (44) and Nandani Sharma (40), Chandigarh failed to deliver the result in their favour. Rajasthan's disciplined bowling attack spearheaded by U A Pareriya (3/25) and K P Choudhary (2/26) sealed the victory. Chandigarh will play their last league match against Tripura on March 13.
