Chandigarh, Feb.07, 2025:-The Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI), Chandigarh, successfully organized a workshop on "Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) & Its Registration Process" on 7th February 2025. The workshop was conducted offline at the FDDI Chandigarh campus and streamed live across 12 FDDI campuses in India, with 159 participants attending the session.The event commenced with a formal welcome address by Dr. Annu Kumari, Faculty at FDDI, followed by the facilitation of the distinguished speakers by Dr. Avinash Bajpai, Senior Faculty at FDDI.The workshop featured two eminent speakers from the Indian Patent Office, New Delhi: Rajesh Kumar Meena, Examiner of Patents & Designs, and Jai Veer, Assistant Controller. They provided key insights into IPR fundamentals, the registration process, and practical strategies for safeguarding innovations. The workshop concluded with an interactive Question & Answer session, offering participants an opportunity to engage directly with the experts. In closing, Dr. Avinash Bajpai delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the speakers for their insightful sessions. The event concluded with the presentation of appreciation certificates and mementos to the distinguished speakers.
