Mohali, August 31, 2024:- The Nine-day mega book fair, organised by Kitab Lovers kick started today in Mohali at CP67 amid much much fanfare.
The mega book fair, being organized at CP67 Mall in Mohali from August 31 to September 8, 2024, aims at selling books at the most affordable prices besides offering a variety of books across various genres to book lovers.
While giving information about the book fair, Rahul Pandey, co-founder of Kitab Lovers, said that he is overwhelmed to see the public response on the first day of the fair, and he is sure more readers will throng the event from different corners of Punjab and its neighbouring states.
Over one million new and pre-loved books across more than 20 genres will be showcased at the book fair. The USP of the fair is its innovative out of the box concept, known as 'Load the Box', under which customers can pay a fixed price for a box and take as many books as they can fit into that box. The boxes have been economically peiced between ₹1200 and ₹3000.
While adding more details Rahul Pandey said that this being our first event in Mohali, he is very keen to see the response of book readers in this part of the country. Our book fair not only provides books at affordable prices but also caters to a wide range of book lovers. There will be books by seasoned and awarded publishers and authors, which surely prove to be the cherry on the cake for the fans and readers.
Rajpal Publishing: The oldest Hindi publishing house, established in 1912, is now a part of our book fair.
Penguin Hindi Books: A separate section for Penguin's Hindi books is being presented at this year's fair.
He added that e it students, professionals, kids, parents or grandparents, the fair is not going to disappoint any of the book lovers.

1) Top 50 Trending Books in India: A separate collection featuring the 50 most popular books in India will be available.
2) Books on Share Marketing: There will also be a special section for books related to the stock market and investment.
Rahul Pandey further stated that snce computers and digital gadgets overshadowed the literary world, Books, any day, remain the first choice of book lovers. The ecstasy you feel while flipping pages of a book and the smell of a new book can never be replaced by any form of technology or reading gadget. Meeting with the authors:-
Bestselling authors Sudeep Nagarkar and Aditya Nighot will grace the fair with their presence as chief guests on September 7. This could be a unique opportunity for book lovers to meet their favorite authors and get their favourite books signed by them.
