Chandigarh, April 22, 2024:- BJP Chandigarh Candidate for Lok Sabha elections, Sanjay Tandon is reaching out to all segments of society as part of his election campaign , to understand their specific problems so that solutions for these are found. Under this 'community contact programme' he visited the Institute for Blind, Sec 26, and interacted with visually impaired students here.
While interacting with students, Tandon asked the students about their hobbies and favourite subjects. Praising students' will, Tandon said, "I am happy to see the students' unwavering quest to learn despite heavy odds. These kids are our nation's shining stars and I wish them all the best for their future."
Meanwhile, during the interaction, Kafi, a student of Class 12 who lost her sight in an acid attack gave a demonstration to Tandon on how the students here surf the Internet and read content on computers with the help of a screen reader program JAWS (Job Access With Speech).
Tandon is currently engaged in a well coordinated campaign, and is meeting people from all walks of life. Tandon's team is making a proper list of issues of the constituency, which the BJP candidate has vowed to resolve once he's elected to represent Chandigarh in the Lok Sabha.
